The Bookcase

The Bookcase is a friendly independent bookshop situated in the village of Lowdham, approximately 8 miles north of Nottingham. We like to think that customers visiting The Bookcase will enjoy a wonderfully peaceful browse, with efficient and unobtrusive help, a relaxed atmosphere and a total focus on customer service. We provide a wide range of books catering for all ages and tastes, and a selection of gifts so that we can be a one-stop-shop for gifts. We run a very active events programme, with an annual Book Festival and other events throughout the year, so our customers are part of a community of like-minded people. Our slogan is “more than just a bookshop”, and that is always our aim – to be the best we can be in all aspects of our service to customers.
